It has been announced that purchasing Apple’s mixed reality glasses, the Vision Pro, unveiled at WWDC 2023, will require making an appointment.
The rise of metaverse initiatives has rapidly increased interest in virtual reality headsets. At the recent WWDC developers conference, Apple officially introduced the Vision Pro, their mixed reality headset.
Setting a new benchmark in advanced glasses for interacting with the environment, the Vision Pro will be priced at $3,500.
Apple has stated that buying the Vision Pro will necessitate scheduling an appointment, with potential customers being prompted to provide their eyeglass prescriptions.
Reports indicate that the Vision Pro will initially launch in major US markets, such as New York and Los Angeles.
By the end of 2024, the device is expected to become available in other countries, starting with the UK and Canada, and then expanding to cover the entire European and Asian markets.
