AI-Driven Tab Organization in Google Chrome: Boosting Efficiency

Google Chrome is preparing to use artificial intelligence to group similar tabs together. This forthcoming feature will be beneficial for users who often manage multiple open tabs and prefer to have them organized automatically.

Google is currently testing an “organize tabs” feature for the Chrome browser. With the help of AI, this feature will efficiently arrange multiple tabs for the user. Presently, this functionality is undergoing trials in Chrome Canary.

Organize tabs feature is coming

Google Chrome’s forthcoming feature appears to be quite similar to the “group similar tabs” option that was recently introduced in Microsoft Edge. The “Organize Tabs” function will help users gather various tabs into groups based on their content. To access this new feature, users will need to click the button located to the left of the first tab and then choose the option to create a group.

While “Organize Tabs” is currently exclusive to Canary, its broader release date is still uncertain. Google frequently tests new features, but not all of them progress to the final version. Chrome has recently introduced several new features, including the ability to take screenshots from videos and the display of trending searches in the address bar.
